The Hopedwell Suspension Trauma Relief Strap is an essential secondary safety feature designed to significantly enhance worker safety and comfort following a fall while suspended in a harness. Also known as a “Rescue Step,” this compact, rapid-deployment strap provides a temporary foothold, allowing the suspended worker to relieve pressure on the legs and improve vital circulation while awaiting rescue. It is a critical, easy-to-use addition to any comprehensive fall protection system.

The Hopedwell Relief Strap is available in two configurations to suit various harness designs and deployment preferences:
Loop-to-Loop: Designed for universal attachment via simple girth hitching or threading onto the harness webbing.
Hook Type: Features a steel buckle/hook mechanism for rapid, secure attachment to compatible harness connection points.
Purpose & Application
Primary Use: To relieve pressure and improve circulation in the legs and hips of a worker who is suspended in a safety harness after a fall (Suspension Trauma Relief).
Secondary Use: Used with safety harnesses to modify the functions, add extra safety features, or provide comfort/convenience to the person wearing the harness.
Important Note: This product is designed only for use in a post-fall suspension scenario or for training purposes. It does not replace the primary function of a safety harness.
